Another classic example of "came for the art, stayed for the music." Profane Eternity beautifully combines black metal with a breathtaking concoction of atmospheric dungeon synth and even raw vampyric metal. What really aces it is how each element is so masterfully intertwined that you don't really feel like you're listening to any specific genre beyond it being properly black metal. Faith
